​LABOUR RATES
Many dealerships charge in excess of $110 per hour, (some as much as $150 p/hr).
SOS Marine Service's rate is only $88 an hour for a fully qualified marine trained technician. Unlike many mobile mechanics we have also spent over $10,000 to equip ourselves with the latest computer diagnostic equipment, a necessity when servicing and diagnosing the latest generation marine engines fitted with ECU technology. So it's 100% quality service using all the right gear.

SPARE PARTS

Dealerships are limited in this area, meaning that authorised dealers are obliged to fit only genuine manufacturers (OEM) parts which can be quite expensive. But like many pharmacies, we give our clients the option of fitting generic (or aftermarket) parts where suitable. These are generic marine parts (not car parts), we have an extensive supplier network where we can always source the right parts at the right price.
